Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of dineplenty.com and every booking you make through it. Last updated November 1, 2026.
1. What we do
- 1.1DinePlenty lets you reserve an early or late table at a participating restaurant. The restaurant takes 50% off the food on your bill; drinks are full price.
- 1.2We are a booking service. The meal, its service and its bill are between you and the restaurant.
- 1.3You must be 18 or older to create an account or book. Keep your password private; you are responsible for bookings made from your account.
2. The booking fee
- 2.1Each booking has a booking fee paid to us when you book: $8 for one, $10 for two to four, and $12 for five or six in your party. It is the price of our booking service, not a payment toward your meal, and it is not taken off your bill.
- 2.2Some bookings carry a flat $5 fee: a first booking made through a friend's referral link, an ambassador's code or a city launch code, or after joining a city's waitlist before it launched (within its waitlist cap, usually the first 1,000 people), and every booking in a city's first 30 days. These never combine.
3. At the restaurant
- 3.1Arrive within 15 minutes of your booking time. After that the offer is void and the restaurant may record a no-show.
- 3.2Offers are for dine-in only. Each restaurant's conditions (for example excluded items or a drink per person) are shown before you pay and form part of the booking.
- 3.3Licensed venues may ask for ID. If you can't show it when asked, the 50% offer doesn't apply.
- 3.4Please tip on the full, pre-discount amount.
4. Cancelling and credit
- 4.1Cancellation outcomes are set out in our Cancellation Policy. Refunds of the booking fee are made as credit, not cash, except where the law requires otherwise.
- 4.2Credit is promotional. It has no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and expires 90 days after it is issued.
- 4.3Referrals ("Give $5, get $5"): a friend who joins through your referral link pays $5 for their first booking, and once they've completed it you get $5 in credit (more at Gold and Platinum). Referral credit is promotional credit on the same terms as any other credit. Referring yourself or creating accounts to earn it isn't allowed.
5. Your account
- 5.1Restaurants rate each booking after the meal. 3 no-shows in 12 months pause your account; contact us if you think a rating is wrong.
- 5.2You may write one review per booking, public or private. Reviews must be honest and about your own visit; we may hide reviews that break these rules.
- 5.3You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Account settings.
6. Text messaging (SMS) program
- 6.1There are two separate, optional SMS consent boxes at signup. By checking the booking box, you agree to receive text messages from DinePlenty about your bookings: confirmations, same-day reminders and post-meal rating requests. By checking the marketing box (or texting START or JOIN to +1 (424) 392-7236), you agree to receive up to 2 marketing messages per week from DinePlenty about available tables and offers near you. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or email team@dineplenty.com. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
- 6.2Your phone number is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and is not shared with third parties for their marketing.
7. Using the site fairly
- 7.1You can hold one booking per day, and you can't book the same restaurant twice in a row: book somewhere else in between before going back.
- 7.2Don't book tables you don't mean to use, resell or transfer bookings or credit, create more than one account, or use bots or scripts to book or to copy the site.
- 7.3We may cancel bookings or close accounts that break these terms or abuse the offer. If we cancel a booking for a reason that isn't your fault, you get the fee back as credit.
8. Diner posts
- 8.1When you submit a social media post to DinePlenty for credit, or tag us in one that we credit, you give DinePlenty a non-exclusive, worldwide license, with no further payment, to repost, share and display it, with credit to you, on our website, social media and marketing. You keep ownership, and you confirm the post is yours to share.
- 8.2Posts that earn credit must include #DinePlentyPartner so your followers know you received something from us. Credit is applied to booking fees, can't be exchanged for cash and follows the rules on the post-for-credit page. We may decline a post, and we may stop reposting it if you ask us at team@dineplenty.com.
9. The restaurants
- 9.1Restaurants are independent businesses. They are responsible for their food, drink, service, premises and prices, and for meeting food-safety and alcohol laws. Tell the restaurant directly about allergies and dietary needs.
- 9.2We check restaurants before they list and act on reports, but we don't guarantee a meal, an experience or that a table will be available.
10. Liability
- 10.1DinePlenty is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens at a restaurant, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the booking fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- 10.2Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
11. Changes, disputes and contact
- 11.1We may change these terms. We'll email you before a material change takes effect; using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
- 11.2If something goes wrong, write to team@dineplenty.com first and we'll try to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, and either of us may use small claims court instead.
